Las pretensiones de pureza, ya sea en lo discursivo o en los medios utilizados, perpetúan la idea del artista como genio intuitivo y la idea del arte como algo ajeno a las realidades sociales. </p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">Discursos sin rigor, temerosos y desinformados, quieren justificarse con una dialéctica del consenso y la comodidad. Actúan a través de estereotipos y su refugio es la inspiración. </p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">Sin embargo, las rupturas vanguardistas que se han dado a lo largo del siglo XX, sobre todo en la segunda mitad, nos han mostrado que cualquier objeto o situación es susceptible de convertirse en expresión artística y que, más allá de la idea de un arte conservador y reaccionario, es necesario estirar constantemente los límites de lo que se puede considerar arte.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify;">Las piezas que reúne esta exposición atienden a la noción del arte como desplazamiento de los límites establecidos y como problematización de la experiencia artística. Al dejar los terrenos habituales (cuánto letargo le ha costado al arte regional quedarse en la comodidad de lo conocido), las obras aquí reunidas crean diálogos entre lo virtual y lo concreto de la experiencia de cada artista. Transitan de un medio a otro y trazan líneas de<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>significación hacia un entendimiento crítico de la(s) realidade(s) más próximas y que, de alguna manera, se vuelven parte de la memoria del espectador.
